Custom RC Sticker Sheets: How to Organize Names, Sponsors and Sizes

A good sticker sheet should do more than fill empty space. It should give you the right names and sponsor logos in sizes you can actually use across your body, radio, charger, pit box, tools, and backup gear.

The easiest way to get a clean result is to organize the information before the design starts. Here is what to send Impulsive Design Worx when ordering a custom RC sponsor sticker sheet or a custom RC name sticker sheet.

Start with the sticker sheet you actually need

IDW currently offers two separate custom options, each listed at $25:

  • Custom RC Sponsor Sticker Sheet: built around the brands you represent, with multiple copies and sizes for your car and pit gear.
  • Custom RC Name Sticker Sheet: built around your name, nickname, or race name, with multiple decal sizes for different areas of your setup.

If your main goal is to update sponsor logos on a new body, start with the sponsor sheet. If you want your name carried across several cars, radios, chargers, and tools, the name sheet is the cleaner choice. Many racers will benefit from having both so names and sponsor logos can be placed independently.

Build a clean sponsor list before you order

Do not rely on memory or copy a sponsor list from an old body. Make one current list and check it before submitting the order. For every sponsor, include:

  • The exact brand name
  • The preferred logo version, if the company has more than one
  • Any color requirements
  • Whether the logo needs to be repeated
  • Which sponsors should receive larger placement

Priority matters. A sheet works better when the logos you need most are identified up front. Tell IDW which brands belong on the main body panels and which ones only need smaller copies for your radio, charger, or pit box.

Use the correct logo files

If a sponsor gave you an official logo file, use it. Do not send a blurry screenshot when a clean version is available. The sponsor-sheet listing lets you provide your lineup, logo color requests, size requests, and repeat requests. If you have a specific logo version or your own artwork, contact IDW about the files and layout before ordering.

Give exact measurements for tight areas

If a sticker must fit a specific place, measure that space and include the requested dimensions in your notes. This is especially useful for narrow side guards, wing areas, radio cases, tool handles, battery labels, or a specific body panel.

Do not just write “small.” A requested width or height gives the designer something useful to work with. The product listings specifically ask customers with size-sensitive placement to include the dimensions and contact IDW to confirm the layout.

Double-check the name before checkout

For a name sheet, enter the exact name or nickname you want printed. Check spelling, capitalization, spacing, and any number you want included. Also add your preferred colors and style direction.

This is the time to be precise. If you want a nickname instead of your full name, say so. If your last name needs to be all caps, enter it that way. The product is personalized from the information you provide.

Match the rest of your race program

Your sticker colors do not have to fight the rest of the car. Use the same main color, supporting color, and neutral that already appear in your paint scheme or team apparel. That makes it easier to carry one recognizable look from the body to the pit table.

If you are also updating your custom pit board or custom racing T-shirt, send the same name spelling, sponsor order, and color references for every item.

Quick ordering checklist

  • Current sponsor list
  • Correct logo files or preferred logo versions
  • Priority logos that need larger placement
  • Logos that need multiple copies
  • Exact name or nickname spelling
  • Preferred colors and style notes
  • Requested dimensions for size-sensitive areas
  • Race deadline, if you have one, so you can contact IDW about current turnaround before ordering

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a nickname or race name?

Yes. Enter it exactly as you want it printed, including capitalization and any number you want included.

Does my sheet have to match the example photos?

No. The photos are examples. Sponsor sheets are built around the sponsor lineup you provide, and name sheets are personalized with your own name and design direction.

Can I request repeated logos or special sizes?

Yes. The sponsor-sheet listing asks you to include logo color, size, and repeat requests. If a decal must fit a particular space, include the requested dimensions and contact IDW to confirm the layout.

What if I need the stickers for an upcoming race?

Contact IDW before ordering to check the current turnaround time. The product listings do not promise a fixed timeline.

Make the sheet useful from the first cut

A few minutes of preparation can keep your sticker sheet organized around the cars and equipment you actually use. Review the custom sponsor sticker sheet and custom name sticker sheet, then send IDW a clean list of names, logos, priorities, colors, and size requests.
